Ok so i got a 97 volvo 850 i wanna make some more power out of her. my problem is shes a NA so my list for upgrades is limited. i already have a 2 1/2 straight pipe with a monza resonator. Just want to make some more power u know. lol for my lead foot O and can anyone tell me what exactly happens when i switch 2 sport mode?? i think the gearing changes but is that all????

 

Sport mode just changes the shift points in the transmission. Not much you can do on a NA engine. I would put in a K & N Airfilter to get a little more air flowing to the engine. Other than that, not much else.

 

If you want to really get more power out of it you may have the wrong car. I would sell it and get a turbo model. You will never be able to get that car to be nearly as fast as a turbo car unless you drop some MAJOR bucks in it.
