Hey all--

About a month ago I bought a 2012 S60 T5 in Ice White for myself and a 2011 XC90 R-Design in Ice White for my wife!

Needless to say... I already have some MAJOR stone chips right in the middle of my front bumper. I am somewhat disapointed in the overall quality of the Volvo paint. The paint basically peeled right off to expose the black bumper.

Anyway, I got the nifty idea to add a euro license plate to the front of my car... but I don't know where to get the bracket to mount the plate. Most of the europlate sites offer a "frame" for their euro plates... but I think I need the bracket to mount the plate onto.

I called my dealer (Stadel Volvo in Lancaster, PA) to ask for the part... but the parts guy he said he can't get it from Volvo of North America??? Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks guys!!

However, if I purchased two newer Volvo's and a road stone chip was causing paint to peal off of my front bumper, you'd better believe that I'd be sitting @ Stadel Volvo while they were painting my bumper. Nuf Said!

Plus, I'm not sure about your local state laws, but here in Commiefornia, they can ticket you for not having front plate in place.

 

No front plate in Arkansas. Hell, you can drive around for 30 days with NO plate. LOL
