Default No brake pedal pressure - need help please

We have had our 2003 XC 70 stored for 12 months and when we went to move car there is no pressure on brake pedal at all ,and pumping does not increase pressure either . the brakes have no stopping power at all .Fluid levels are full but the fluid does move up and down a little when brakes are pumped. It has been suggested that the master cylinder may need replacing as seals may have detiorated . Any advice on this i would really appreciate it , THANKS IN ADVANCE .

I dispise parking old cars.

What happens when you press the pedal? Does it go to the floor? Can you see any leaks at the wheels? Does it have vacuum?

HI rspi
Thanks for repl
the brake pedal went to the floor with no pressure at all and zero braking.
i found the brake system had a lot of air in it which was unusual as there were no leaks and max fluid in reservoir . I can only put it down as original fluid being approx 8 yr old and attracted moisture and having car sitting for 12 months caused the problem.
We changed all the fluid and everything is okay
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE REPLY
