Default clutch pedal force/pressure

hey-

so i just recently purchased my first manual volvo (needed throw out bearing so i got it for cheap ) and i put in a new clutch right away to.

everything bled out fine and stuff. and the clutch fork has very good movement. but the clutch pedal is really soft... is this just normal for volvo's?

like i said, i havnt even pushed thus clutch in on a volvo untill i got this one.

i replaced the slave cylinder also.

ok that makes me feel better i guess to know that i didnt bleed something wrong or anything (or that my master is bad).

im used to a very stiff clutch in my other two cars, so its a big change for me. i do personally love how smooth the trans is tho

Everytime I get into one to move it I pretty much stall it because it is so soft.
I am used to a cable Mustang King Cobra clutch.(Almost needs 2 feet to use it)
The hydraulic ones tend to be on the soft side.

Yes it is I thought I spun a bearing in the old motor and pulled it and installed a Non Ho motor. But then found out the balance had spun and was 7 degrees off giving spark knock.
But I have all the parts to convert the motor to a Ho motor and need to pull it and convert it. Then get an aftermarket Dist. The pick up in both of mine are bad.
