Default no compression on 4th cylinder from passenger side (7-month old post)

any one have an idea as to the solution?

Stuck piston rings or bent valves. Its due for a head removal now.

I just removed the valve cover and the 12 head bolts on the head. Is there anything you might recomend I do after that? Worst case cenerio is I will install a used engine. Im gonna try to see if its just a bad valve. I've never done this before but I have had my fair share of engine swaps. Any info you can give me is very well appreciated.

The head is off and I will take it to the machine shop today. it will cost me only $300.

If your compression is straight ZERO, than you most likely have a valve problem

yes it was the exhaust valve. Thanks for the info. I will post my progress every time I do something significant, I will also be asking for advice from time to time

This is the number 4 cylinder. I dont think this looks too bad, let me know what you think
