So this is my 2nd turbo car. First was a vw 1.8t. Now i have an 06 S60 2.5t with polestar. First and foremost i like to drive fast.! Now ive been doing lots of research about how often ppl are adding oil.(I do know of the issues ive read on here with the 2012s and adding oil due to an recalll or something to that effect) I know the turbos use more and if you drive her hard then you can expect to be about an 1/2 to 1 qt low every 1,000-1,500 miles? does anyone know if this sounds right? Or any other fast drivers out there with any input on this? Also i change my oil every 4,000-5,000. i know thats earlier than volvo calls for but i like to keep my oil fresh. I usually add maybe 1 to 1 1/2 quarts between changes. ps. no problems or anything just something ive always wondered about. thanks, Volvo4Lyfe!!!!
