I have a 1996 850 GLT and noticed oil everywhere underneath the bottom of the engine. Any advice in locating the cause?

Check the following locations:

1. Oil filler cap
2. Oil level dipstick
3. Oil cooler lines/connections
4. Oil thermostat (device located on the right of the crank pulley, where 2 oil cooler lines are attached to)
5. Oil filter
6. Oil pan gasket
7. Crank seal

Clean the engine really good.
Then test drive and recheck for the leak.
