I have a 2000 Volvo V70 AWD crosscountry and the rear center brake light will work if I push on the brake without the keys on or engine running. When the key is turned or vehicle is running the light does not work. The light bulb out light comes on every time I touch the brakes also. This makes no sense to me. Has anyone had this problem and if so how do you correct it.

It's not a bulb. It's a series of LEDS and they work when the key is off but not when the key is on.
