Rear seat removal advice 2000 V40
The seat belt connectors for my rear seat in my 2000 V40 are buried under my rear seat cushion and unaccessible. I need to remove the rear (base) seat cushion in order to pop them back into place between the backrest and base. I can't find anything on the internets on how to pop out that rear seat base. Any advice would be appreciated. Right now I don't have seat belts for the rear passengers. That's not good....
Thanks!

Not 100% on the 2000 V40, but normally the seat bases in the back just pull straight up from the front. There is usually 2 latches on the front of the right and left side and they come out by pulling straight up. These can tend to be a real PITA if they get bent from previous removal.
Actually Dingus the rear seats flip forward on the V40. They hinge from the front so the rear back rest can lay flat. On the sedan they pop up from the front as you suggest - at least that's what I saw on a YouTube vid. Sorry, I thought I was responding to another post. A guy from England on another forum gave me the flip forward advice and it worked!
