Looking at the 2 boxes and wondering if anyone has opinions on them. From what I can tell the 2 boxes are more or less the same in size, but the Volvo Atlantis 1800 (made by Thule) is gloss coat upper vs golf ball dimple surface of the Thule Force. The Atlantis 1800 seems to be 2 generations older than the Thule Force and does not have the nose brace that the Force has (or the upper cover reinforcing ribs that the Thule Altlantis 1800 XT had), but is seems to be made of a beefier material than the Force. I have not had the chance to compare the 2 side by side so am going by memory here. Anyone have a hands on opinion on which would be the better box? I sort of think it might be the older Atlantis 1800, if in fact it is beefier materials ...
