Default S60 T5? or S70 T5?

It's time to get rid of my S90. I have found these two that I'm interested in. The S60 is obvisouly newer, but I like the look of the S70's better. Any reviews or info on these two cars? Which ACTUALLY has more hp?, becuase I've heard mixed answers. On average how long to the turbos of each of these last, and parts and such?, Of course it depends on how you take care of it but just an average.
thanks in advance

Being an S70 owner myself, I'd say get the S70 T5. However, the S60 T5 has more hp than the S70's. I don't know how long the average lifespan of the turbos are, but they'll last as long as the car does.

The S70 T5 has about 230 hp. Normally, the T5 comes loaded with most options. Sunroof, spoiler, fog lights, etc.

Being and S60 owner, I of course recommend the S60. Both are great cars however.

But we all know the S70 is better...:P

Also, the S60 is a little smaller than the S70...so you might want to keep that in mind if you're taller than average like me.

Even though the s70 is older, it has a cleaner look to it! I would go for the S70 over the 60 all day long, but that's why I got into Volvos for the Brick look!

Buy both of them and see which one you like better then sell the other one. I have never driven the S60, but based on appearance alone I like the S70 better, but the S60 is one I will probably condider some time down the road.

Yeah, when I'm no longer able to maintain my S70, I'm thinking about buying an S60.

The 98 S70T5 reportedly has 236 HP while the 99 and later T5 models (including the S60T5) have 247. The S70 is nice; classic styling, parts are readily available, and it is not overrun with software. The S60 on the other hand is more modern, has a smaller aftermarket, and every component seems to be tied to the car's network. If you plan on keeping it stock, no biggie. But start personalizing it and you will quickly find out what I mean. A 99 or 2000 S70T5 with a 5-speed manual would be ideal, IMO.

just fyi, '98 models seem to have far less trouble than '99-'00 models.
