I have a s70 T5 1999 model. The AC will put ice in your moustache except in hot conditions in stop and go traffic. Volvo dearler is puzzled and cant find the problem. I live in Houston so it gets hot early and stays hot late. Has anyone seen this before and can you give me a lead on how to fix it?

 

Follow up to my previous AC problem. The AC works fine until I am in stop and go traffic. The fan blows but no cool air. I can pull over and turn the ignition off and count to 20 and crank the car and the AC works fine.

Are you handy with a test light?

If so when it starts blowing warm test the wire to the compressor. If you have power there the compressor is bad.
