In search of a Volvo wagon
Hello,
I am in the market for a Volvo wagon, but I am having a very hard time deciding which way to go with it.
At first, I liked the XC70, esp 2003-2005 models, due to the reliability reports I’ve read online. Then I started to think about how much they could potentially cost if the AWD systems break, and I thought again.
So, I started looking at the V70, since I don’t 100% need the AWD system. But every time I searched for reliability articles on the V70, it seemed to group the XC70 issues in as well, so I couldn’t really tell what years were the best to buy.
I also considered a few V40 wagons also, a bit smaller than I would really like, but would still serve the purpose.
I really am set on a Volvo wagon, I have about $4500-$6500 to spend and I want something that will be reliable with a solid track record. AWD would be nice, but not essential.
Can anyone make a recommendation as to which wagons in the last 10-15 years would be a good buy in my price range? Thanks.
