I'm getting ready to replace the shift solenoids in my 2000 s80, suspension is no problem ive done that lots of times, where I need help is when I take the side cover off the tranny will I lose the fluid or not? I was thinking about changing fluid and filter before the solenoids to see if there is any change ( not shifting into 4th) as long as I won't lose the fluid when I remove that cover. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Kevin
