Blinkin steerin rack seems to be leakin now, well, i cant see the leak through the rack. but at the bottom of the steerin column,i havent had time to have a good look after gettinhome late from work, but i know if the racks leakin its a gonner, but is there any seals at the bottom of the steerin column, please, cheers john.

Most likely you will have to replace it.

If the leak is not major, you could perhaps get by by carrying a quart of steering fluid (most likely ATF) and keep topping up until you can't deny it.

You could perhaps find a rebuilt or used R&P unit at a junk yard.

Thanks JPN i have atf it needs toppin up every 3 weeks, so i can manage for now. I still havent had chance to get under there, i work outdoors and the weathers very nice at the moment, so the car can wait till i get a day free, thankyou for the help. John.
