Sticker recommendations?
The short story is- I need to cover up a spot where paint peeled off the back of a family member's C70. A sticker seems easiest, and if I can find a classy Volvo sticker (something a 65 year old woman would not find offensive or ugly) to throw on it would be a simple fix.
The long story is- The dealership's sticker was ugly and cheap looking and has always annoyed the owner so I helped to remove it. This isn't an ordinary raised letter dealership logo- it is a FLAT decal (like a used car dealership would use) that my fingernail couldn't budge. The heat gun and a plastic scraper made quicker work of it, but there was an odd white glue spot in the middle that wouldn't budge. (FAST FORWARD) That wasn't glue, it was primer, and it appears there are small flakes of paint on the sticky side of the sticker.
I know that touch up paint would never look good, at least not in my hands.
Short of a several hundred dollar paint shop fix, a sticker seems like an easy cover up. Any thoughts on something that might look good?
Swedish flag, another Volvo logo, etc.
