I have a 2007 s-60 that is stuck in park. I had a problem getting the key our of the ignition a few days ago - it eventuallt came out. Now it seems it is either the key getting stuck in ignition or getting stuck in park. I have noticed a humming sound when I put the brake on to start the car, that is a new noise.

Any advie would be greatly appreciated.

You may have a problem with your transmission linkage. Your car has to know that it's in park before it will release the key.
