Hi experts,

I am interested in buying a Volvo but that needs to be a 5 cylinder one, automatic transmission is a must.
(Might consider a manual only if the clutch is feather light and the gear changes are excellent.)
Roads are bad here, so I don't want to fix/replace suspension components every now and then.
Planning to keep it for about 10-12 years.
From a tropical country, so AC should be good once faults are fixed if any.
My budget allows the 850, S70 and the early 2000's S60.
This would be my 2nd car for longer journeys and congested routes.

I need the aftermarket parts supply to be reliable and affordable. (high priority)
OBD2 is good to have, CAN-BUS/various control units here and there, not so much.
Minimal amount of brittle and/or obscure parts is also a must.
Ease of maintenance, DIY friendly and durability is preferred.
Also, turbo vs NA (in terms of service and reliability, not performance, hence I am more inclined to NA motors)
What are the things I have to consider? Which year of make to choose?
