Hello! I am new to being a volvo owner. I have a 2000 Volvo S40, and I made an appointment to get it serviced at a dealership. My car has 111,000 miles on it, so they told me that I would need to replace my timing belt. Is this normal and how much would this cost?? They told me $1,200 and it seemed a bit pricey to me. Volvo recommends 105k I recommend 70K
It should be between like $300.00 and $600.00 depending on parts and labor prices.
