I am trying to remove the door panels and handles in my 1989 WIA64 without damaging things and the handle mounting has me puzzled. It looks like there is some simple trick that I"m just not hip to. Any advise would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I have never dealt with Volvo trucks so this may not help but I'll try my best.

I would try one or more of the following:

- Look for hidden fasteners. Sometimes they are hidden under cosmetic caps.
- Gently pry with trimpad removing tool.
- The handle may be held in place with fasteners behind the interior trim panel.
- Gently force it[8D].
