Default v70 faulty window

Have just had a problem with my 2001 v70 passenger window. It would'nt go up and down properly so I reset the UEM. It worked fine for a week or two but on holiday it seemed to have a mind of its own either going down on its own or not working at all. Also the passenger door lock would lock on its own. Performed a uem diagnostic on car and the passenger door module comes on display as not checked. Would this indicate a faulty door module and would this have to be replaced by a dealer as some sort of sofware is needed to be downloaded?

I am not sure what your using to do all this diagnostic work, but possibly a module, and yes, software is needed, but you can install it yourself.

Have only used the dashboard display for diagnostic info by holding down the read button on indicator stalk and pressing rear fog light button three times in quick succession. If I fit a new module how do I download new software to it and where do you get it from?

That really does not mean anything when you do that, but you can install the module yourself, but not download to it, sorry for the confusion.
