I would like to put a roof rack on my V70.
Most of the shops only seem to sell the crossbars.
Are there any recommended rails? I would rather avoid the Volvo premium for this and buy something that works but isn't OEM.

 

No one answered, so I will point out that Thule and several other vendors make "feet" that attach to the lip above one's doors, front and rear.

This supports crossbars without the need for any rails, and is likely more secure, given that the car must be unlocked to remove the rack rails.
