Volvo no lethal crashes in US?

Default Volvo no lethal crashes in US?

I heard from someone that there was no lethal cases on Volvo cars in US, is that true, can someone confirm this or point me to some source of this information?

Thats a good question, im from uk so cant help you. but someone will, i look at our car scrapyards and see 240s 740s 940s, but none crumpled up. never seen a mashed one yet. you dont see 850s in the breakers or v70s, or v40s,damn i own a v70, isnt it hell tryin to get second hand parts, but as i say thats a good question, could be some interestin answers for your first post, cheers John? By the way my first volvo was the 240 estate, i had a collision with a honda, wrote the honda off, and damn i broke my headlight wiper motor, and rubber bumper strip. cough? damn the volvos a bit of safe gear me thinks. lol.

I would say there must have been some, but definitely not as many as Asian makes. Other mfgs are catching up with safety, but just when they thought they've caught up, Volvo is again further beyond the dust. Volvos are probably the safest cars available to public in terms of the structural integrity & impact spreading/absorbing technology.
