I almost bought an S80 a couple of days ago, and the car turned out to not be what was represented in the online photos at all.

Then I pulled into a Taco bell later that night, and saw what looked like an 850, but smaller. It didn't have the same taillights like the S80 or S60 have, but it was to small to be an 850.

Anyone know what model this is??? The one in the parking lot at Taco Bell didn't have any logos on the back, but I'm POSITIVE it was a Volvo... you could just tell.

Oh yeah, this is like my 3rd post, but just figure I'd introduce myself on here. I haven't personally owned a Volvo, but growing up, my parents ONLY owned Volvos. My dad would buy them brand new, and then keep them for 20 years straight.

Yup! That's exactly what it was, it was a Volvo S40. I didn't think about it because all the S40s that I've seen are of the style that look like the S60 and S80, you know, that mid-90s Honda Accord taillight look.

After posting this initially, it reminded me that it looked exactly like those Volvos I saw in Holland last time I was there. I think they were called something else like a Volvo 460 or something, or what... I don't remember...

Anyway, it's pretty damned cool looking... it looks like a baby 850!

Does it have a Ford 2.3 liter in it, like the Focus and Mazda?
