Default Generator not charging (dash light that looks like a battery)

This light came on while I was driving home today. Does this simply mean my battery is dieing or something more serious. Any suggestions what to do? I have no clue where to start. My abs and srs lights came on just before I got home and the radio started turning off and on as well. The battery is completely dead now, so I don't have a car until I can figure this out. I have a 2000 s70 non-turbo.

Thank you

The Alternator is bad. Well you should be able to replace the voltage regulator.
