I have a 2001 C70 convert and the leather steering wheel is the most worn part of the car. I would like to get a Wheel cover (And find somebody who will put it on...the right way....maybe an Upholstery shop?) but I don't see any that are the right color.....

The plate under the hood says the interior color code is 1966.

I haven't been able to find a good source to tell me what Volvo calls 1966.
From a company that calls one of their paints "Moondust".....I suspect it might have a fancy shmancy name.

1- anybody know the whereabouts of a interior color chart?

or failing that

2- anybody have the 1966 and know how to match it with Wheelskins (Or another quality Steering Wheel Cover)?

So far, after four days, I'm having a ball with the car.
My iPod adapter is on it's way from Crutchfield.

 

I know this is an old post. But did you ever determine the name of color code 1966. I'm having the same trouble. There are two "beige" colors for 2001. Codes 1366 and 1966 and I can't find any information that would give me confidence on how to order replacement parts or leather dyes that match 1966.
