Heres the deal: I have an '89 240DL right now. I just found a '90 740 turbo in the want ads for $200 with "16" alum wheels, Volvo wing on trunk, elec sunroof, many gd parts, body, elec, trans,". I was wondering how much the 240 and 740 have in common, and what could be used for my car? I eventually want to turbocharge my car, would the turbo assembly off this car fit? Pretty much a list of anything that could be pulled from this car would be greatly appreciated.

 

What is the matter with the 740?

In the long run it might be better to fix the 740.

The only thing really interchangable is the motor and some relays. Also the rims.
