Have a '98 V70 AWD (bought used) and from the driver's position can make the rear windows go down (about 1/3 way only), but switch does not enable me to raise them (have to use window controls in back doors to raise). I've checked and the Cutoff Switch for Rear Windows is "ON", so this should not be a problem. The Owners' Manual is not real helpful.

Would like to (1) be able to raise and lower windows from front seat and (2) allow the rear windows to go all the way down.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

1. Replace the drivers door switch and then they will work from there.
2. They will not go down all the way.
