Default Q: 2001 S60 Windows Not Completely Going Up Or Down

Hey all, first post here on this VERY handy site. I have a 2001 S60 w/ 87K miles that I just purchased from a private seller last month. Since I'm a total screw-up, today I flipped the light switch from running lamps to parking lights only in order to save wear and tear on the headlamps (which I've already had to replace), and subsequently forgot to flip it back after parking. So, I left the parking lights running for 4+ hours and ran my battery flat out. After getting jumped and driving home, I found that I couldn't close the sunroof, manually turn off the overhead lights, or roll the front windows up automatically without them rolling themselves down again. Thanks to this forum, I've resolved the sunroof and overhead light issues (key in lock - lock/unlock/lock/unlock), but I still cannot get the windows to operate normally again after the jump. If I use the automatic feature, the window rolls all the way up, then partially back down. I cannot get the window to roll further than 80% down using the manual rolldown. I'm hoping one of you upper-echelon owners could help this poor noob out! Thanks a mil!

Try using your remote to lock, unlock the doors three times in a row. This is supposed to reset the Upper Electronic Module and will hopefully resolve the issue for you.

Thanks vegas, but no dice. I have done this technique with both key-in-lock and remote, to no avail. It appears to me that during my battery drain, the UEM may have reset the thresholds on the automatic system for raising and lowering the front windows. I just spoke to the former owner, who recommended pulling the battery terminals for a few minutes and hard rebooting the car's computers. Does anyone see any issue with that?

That might fix it.
