Winter tires
Dear Volvo lovers,
I've been driving my V70 on Good Year, Eagle Ultra Grip, GW3, winter tires for a coupe of years. Tires came along with the car when I bought it. I find them good on a flat surface but they are very weak as soon as the car in on a slope!
I noticed that Volvos usually rid on GSlaved tires. How good are they?
Thanks in advance.

Those Ultragrips are suppose to be pretty good. I haved never tried the Gslaved, For a dedicated winter tire I have always had great results with Nokian Happelittas. However 0ne of my friends just put a set of cheap studded Winterforce brand tires on his 2004 V-70 and he has been going up and down an icy mountain road everyday without any problems
