can someone help my volvo v40 t4 dies splutters an cuts out wen still quarter tank of fuel.could tghis be fuel pump,pressure regulator or both many thanks

you have an in tank fuel pump hose to sender that has come loose or is broken

Agree that it is a fuel pump issue. Probably some type of break. When the tank is full no problem, at 1/4 it is probably sucking air, which causes the sputter.
