Default wow well thats a day wasted...

alright well for christmas i got the EST cool air intake and the EST short shifter with the carbon shift **** for my 2001 c70. the cool air intake worked great! easy installation with great sound and everything. but now for the shifter...

well to start off they sent me the wrong shifter. but we werent able to find that out until we took hours dissembling everything that had to do with the center console and then dissembling everything that was necessary to dissemble that dealt with the actual shifter itself (many small easy to loose and slippery parts) so that the new short shifter could go in.

after we figured out that we got ****ed. we went to put the stock parts back on the car. but thanks to the instructions given by EST we didnt have a shift boot because it was instructed to be destroyed and the leather **** became plastic because we were supposed to cut the leather away with a KNIFE! so thank you EST. now my car is being shifted by the stock shifter and a hard plastic ball until i can suffice something of better quality. heres some pics.

Like the intake. If you are going for the semi industrial, semi deconstructed, semi demolished look, I like the shifter too.

How much HP and what type of gains would the air filter add?

well from what ive heard from others and what ive felt from driving the car virtually nothing is gained!!!

lol no but seriously the intake is more for flashy purposes...i feel cooler now while driving downtown because of how my car sounds like dark vader whenever i shift but i know that my car isnt anymore powerful than when it had the stock air filter.
