XC-70 won't start

XC-70 won't start
My 2000 XC-70's battery ran down. I charged it. I have strong horn, lights and everything else, but can't get it to turn over and can't get key out of ignition. Is there some sort of security device in this car that prevents starting? I've done everything I can think of.
