That leaves a huge margin. I suggest just going and taking out the big middle muffler/resonator.

I have taken out the middle cat, resonator, and have a OBXR in the back.

And literally just about 5 minutes ago ordered my cutout.

I think you need Resonator and it only will help you.

The stock resonator is heavy but fairly free flowing. I would suggest something like a Magnaflow bullet or XR-1 if you want to keep another resonator/muffler.

Default How to cure a lean running Suzuki S40?

For the motorcycle enthusiasts, I’m in a quandary. I recently purchased a 2006 Suzuki Boulevard s40, and I love it except for it runs extremely lean. I had the carb serviced and jetted, but the mechanic said he couldn’t get it quite right and realized the problem. The previous owner drilled holes in the end of the exhaust hoping to get more sound. All it has really accomplished is a seriously lean running bike. The mechanic said the best start to curing the extreme leanness is to find a new pipe. My question is, will getting a new pipe that is full baffled really cure the problem? Everything I’ve read says that these little thumpers are naturally lean due to EPA restrictions. Thank you!
