Default Ipd Sport Exhaust For Non-Turbo 240

I Got This Three Weeks Ago And Love It! I Used Everything The System Came With But Eliminated My Cat Got About 10 Hp All Together And An Amazing Sound! Ive Had People Say It Sounds Like A Camaro And Mustang. Its Loud Outside Alot Quieter Inside. My Gas Mileage Also Improved About 1-2 MPG. I Would Recommend This To Anyone Looking For A New Exhaust For Their 240! Great Price Too!

How do you know you got an extra 10hp? Did you have it dynoed before and after?

No I havent gotten it dynoed there isnt even a dyno anywhere near where i live but ipd says the exhaust gives you about 5-6 and eliminating the cat mustve freed up about 4-5 hp. plus it lowered my quarter mile time decently.

Sadly if you ever do get it dynoed you'll never know how much you did gain if you gained anything at all.

To everyone out there when installing performance parts DYNO BEFORE and DYNO AFTER. Its the only way you'll know for sure and know the real figures.

IPD claims, but not everyone is going to see that. Everyone's car is different and in different stages of maintenance.

Depends on the shop. Also if they have an AWD dyno or not. Remember not all places do and they will charge more usually for an AWD model car.

I was charged $100 something for my 1999 S70 AWD to have it dynoed about 6 years ago.

That's not bad...but I dropped a full second in the 1/4, in an NA 87 244, by getting rid of my ex wife.

And I have money to spend on the car now
