Default OBX Exhaust

This thread is about the OBX Exhaust. OBX is an excellent turbo back exhaust for someone looking to not break the bank. Recently installed one on my 1994 850 Turbo.

My overall opinion about it: Extremely will built exhaust for the price. The entire exhaust was polished and looked very nice. It is a 3" down pipe to a 2.5" cat back system. It fit like a glove, there was no need to make any alterations to the exhaust. However, for 94 and 95 Turbo 850's, you'll have to change housings on the turbo from the conical housing that came on the turbo to either a straight or angled flange housing that can be found on any 850 turbo model 1996 and up. The exhaust sounds great with a nice tuned tone to it, , nothing too obnoxious. The tip sticks out a little further than the stock exhaust does, but IMO looks good none the less.

If you want a new exhaust for your car and don't want to spend a ton of money and still want something quality, I would suggest this. I paid about 480 dollars for it, but I think it can be found for less with some digging.

Oh yeah, those were a pain. I kept dropping the bolts and the nuts and I was underneath the car, so it's not like I can get up and look for them. Well worth it though.

Wait... No cat included right? that is one way to cut cost down.

So if people with E-testing need one they would have to have one installed.

Correct, there is no cat. This is a straight pipe. There is a piece, about 2 feet long or so, no bends, has a spot for a rear O2 sensor, and I believe that if you want to add a cat, this pipe is for that.
