I'm interested in running a 3" straight pipe on my 2004 s80 2.5t.

I'm not too familiar with exhausts on any car, should I expect a really bad crackling noise or will it be reasonable. Will the increased performance be worth the trouble?

you will gain more from the whole exhaust. 3" for the whole exhaust... will cost some money though...

not sure on the crackling nosie, i have yet to try a test pipe on my car.
