Wondering is it possible to switch out the older leather only auto trans **** for the leather/wood version? If so, how difficult would it be? Any wires or special care needed in the removal and re-application of the ****? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

 

You can take the shift **** off. There is a little ring right at the base turn it and pull the boot down.

Then try and pull the **** straight upwards. By the way this is the hardest part. It is very hard to pull off.
