I am a former ASE mechanic(1990's) and am helping my wife's friend with her 2003 Volvo XC70. The instrument cluster(DIM) took a dump and while it IS able to be read with my advanced Snap-On OBD scanner(confirmed it is transmitting), I am going to put a replacement cluster in its place(2002 S80) since it was sporadic and just died. If I understand this process correctly for the Volvo, I will need to clone the orig DIM onto the replacement DIM and then it will work properly in the XC70. Is there anybody locally in central Indiana area that can help me do this(I'll pay you to help) or if not, I suppose I can ship it to you if you can do it for me?
