dim DIM (instrument cluster brightness)
Hello all- first post:
I'm the new owner of an '04 V70 2.5T wagon in great shape with 99000 miles. My first issue- the instrument cluster lighting is very dim, so faint that it can't be read easily during the day. Otherwise it works fine.
I'm talking about the green lighting for the messages, odometer, temp, etc. I have the brightness dial turned up all the way. I have removed the DIM and inspected the back after reading a post somewhere about replacing bulbs. But my DIM seems pretty solid-state without bulbs; the green lighting seems to come from LEDs on the panel.
I have searched the existing forum posts. Any suggestions to fix the problem? thanks to all
