I am new in this forum.
I am looking to replace front wheel brake disks on my 740 GL ( 1990 year model with B230F eng.).
Does anyone in this forum has experience with 10.25" diameter rotors sold by AutoZone.
I know many people would say go with Brembo, etc. and I appreciate that, but I am curious to know how much difference is there between disks sold by AutoZone and OEM?
AutoZone disks are made in Taiwan, have 2 year warranty, and cost ~$23/each [NOTE: 11.25" disks cost more].
They also offer gurling break pads set for $19 with life-time warranty. Has anyone tried those?

Any personal experience would be highly appreciated.

This is what I will say.

You get what you pay for. I have a feeling or should I say more then likely know that AutoZone rotors and whatever pads they sell are NO GOOD.

Please buy decent parts, then you wont have to replace them as often as you would these cheap ones from AutoZone.

 

Agreed....i'm putting up with this mistake as we speak. Cheap disks warp fast
