So i have tracked down my draw to the fuse block in the engine compartment, in the back there's a connector c2 a main power wire to ground at 500ohm, can anyone identify where it is going? It would be a big help!

 

It seems awful, but I use wiring diagrams for thing like that. Of course you can pull the fuse and see what doesn't work.

You can get wiring diagrams at volvowiringdiagrams.com but they may not have every year. Sometimes I find what I am looking for and sometimes I don't.

My battery was going dead and i thought i had a parasitic draw, I've been working on this car since i got it, it had been sitting due to a bad transmission. To check the electrical system correctly, i had to put my DMM between the battery and the terminal connector and let the draw slow til everything shut down.
