2011 Volvo C70 - Need Buying Advice
I have a local used car dealer trying to find me a Volvo C70 and is sending some pics with VIN and info from an auction yard. Can anyone offer advice? I wanted black, he found a silver 2011 Volvo C70 59,140 miles and a black 2010 but with 128,087 mi and a white 2011 with 42,512 mi. Can I compare installed options using VIN?

Free online VIN decoders will tell you the make, model, build location, engine, transmission etc. Installed options such as paint color, interior etc would probably need to come from the dealer or a paid search service. I think given the route you are going, you may want to purchase a history report such as Carfax to see what maintenance was done. For example, on a car with 128K miles, the timing belt should have been done at 120K. You can also see the owner history including dealers along the way and where the car was registered, whether it was in an accident etc. Typically reports cost about $25 each but you can buy a bulk subscription. You may also want to search Autotrader.com to see other C70s in your target area - its a great way to judge market pricing and availability.
