2015 V60 Polestar maintenance
I am new to Volvo and just received my new Polestar V60. However, I live on Kauai, an island of Hawaii and we do not have a Volvo dealer on the island (there is one on Oahu, but that requires shipping to the tune of $400 or so). We have access to reasonably good mechanics and I would like to get as much info as possible as to regular maintenance procedures. I have found a simple video on oil change. Does anyone know of a good service manual that would cover most of the Polestar regular upkeep? I am OK with shipping for major issues...just want to be involved as much as possible.
thanks and looking forward to learning a new car.

I don't think doing scheduled maintenance elsewhere will cause any problems with warranty, so long as you can prove it was done and the failed part is not related to the maintenance.
For example, if for some reason the car has issues with oil sludge and you cannot produce receipts showing you had the oil changed on time, repairs for that would not likely be covered. However, if a front strut starts leaking, that has nothing to do with any of the maintenance services.
There isn't anything special about servicing the Polestar vs. a regular V60. Any decent shop should have no problems changing the oil and filter, spark plugs or pollen filter. The owner's manual has a maintenance schedule in it to follow.

Thanks, I appreciate the responses. I understand Damiein360's point and will be careful to have "major" service done properly. ES6T is also right that they cannot fault you for not doing service at Volvo dealer...just be sure to do it and keep records...I will. Part of what I am asking about is getting documentation and service manuals. I try to do preventative maintenance on my cars, and to do so I need a good shop manual. Are there manuals available for the V60?
I have enjoyed driving the beast around the last few days, though to be honest, the Navigation feature is a little over the top on an island. I can't wait for the first big storms of the winter.
Thanks again.
