Has anyone installed a non OEM hitch but then went to Volvo to have the software updated to help with anti sway etc. I’m not fond of the install prices with the drop down hitch and I know Curt and draw tight, Uhaul are significantly less expensive but does not have the wiring that would be separate. Right now I’m just looking at towing heavy bikes, maybe a small trailer so eventually I would need the wiring. I also know with the Curt you have to cut the heat shield so worried about voiding the warranty. Thanks.
