2022 VC 40 Apple play
Has anyone had this problem? the apple car play in my year old care started doing a dance - connecting and disconnecting while using it. Or not even connecting, or saying connection error. Bottom line I was told by the service people when I took the car in, and that the software update (that's the answer to everything!) that there was crossing between the blue tooth in the car with that on my phone and my Apple Watch. And that the only remediation was to totally disconnect blue tooth on my phone before connecting to the car. Needless to say none of the discussion I had with them made sense, I have owned this car for more than a year and the watch for 2 years, etc. So I have spoke with Volvo customer care, and a case has been opened. I need the car play not only for my listening pleasure but to provide a trustworthy navigation system, because the Volvo one is not that good (and the sales people told me to use google maps).
Has anyone here had a similar problem? How did you remediate the situation?
