First time Volvo owner, I had the airconditing recharged a couple of weeks ago, it was working ok, cool but not frezing. It would work fine when you first start out, if you dont stop for gas or for some other reason. I was told it is a inside temp unit, if so can i temporally by-pass this unit or should I replace it, and where is it.

 

You might have a leak or a bad compressor.
It kind of sounds like a bad compressor.

 

Having cruse control problems, it works when it wants to, If I set the cruse and its working fine untill I apply the brake, some times I can just resume other times I have to touch set, and today it wouldnt work after I just got through using it.

 

There is a possibility that the brake switch is out of adjustment.It might not sit in the switch properly all the time.
