Hello, I am a new member.
Appreciate any suggestions befor taking car to the shop.
I have VOLVO S70 1999. Last week ABS warning light has come on and since that
it stays steadily when engine is on.

Check out the ABS module they go bad very often.

 

Thanks, but I even do not know where ABS module is located.
Probably under the hood.

Look under the master cylinder and the resivior.You will see a pump motor under the master cylinder.Then down further you will see a black box bolted to the under side of the pump motor.The is the module you will need a special inverted torxes socket to get the screws out.
