advice needed
I am currently looking to buy a car. I came across an 04 S60R with 19k miles on it. 22,900. this is right in my price range. I'm coming from a 97 honda prelude. what I'm asking is are volvo's really that expensive to maintain? I thought for what this car is that is a helluva price. are these cars prone to problems etc...? I'm already approved with capitol one and already have a blank check on the way. I'm excited as heck. but is there anything I should look out for? seemed to run great. drove like a dream. took it on some twisties it handled like a champ. I was looking at a wrx before I found this one. opinions? suggestions? I am a pt supervisor at UPS, and can afford the payments for the car without any problems. but don't know how much maintenance costs are. please offer advice oh volvo guru's.

I just took my 1999 s70 awd in for its 85,000 checkup and they did...
-oil change
-turbo oil seal of some kind
-pollen filter
-removed some idiot lights (Meaning made them stop coming on)
-climate control fix
-inspection
-rear brake pads
$775
Also before the 10 year 200,000 mile warranty was applied my car has the infamous ETM problem. Which is roughly $900-$1200 for the actual ETM (Electronic Throttle Module). It cost $920 just to have that done. And then they came out with a software update which was like $60-$100 some months later. I don't know if that software was covered under the warranty or not, but still.
The only cheap parts I ever got from the dealership was MAF screws and headlight bolts. And even then they were $.50 a pop or so. Not to mention that they buy their s70 turn signals for like $30 and mark them up to $50 a pop.

RE: advice needed
well keep in mind i'm coming from a 97 honda prelude *500 cause I lost all my keys* *atts Unit went bad, 3900, clutch change is right at 900, 100k service to change the timing belt etc... is 650. I mean, all cars have maintenance costs associated. I don't think the cost of an 04 s60r will beTHAT much more than my prelude. how wrong am I?
