Has anyone managed to get a Rear Facing Baby seat fitted into a Volvo S60. We are struggling to find one at the moment. The only other alternative is the ISOFIX system which costs an arm and a leg for a seat you can only use for 9 months

The trouble seems to be the length of the rear seat belts.

Any help on models that fit would be much appreciated

I used both a Graco infant seat, and then a Graco convertable seat (rear facing) in my S60, and never had a problem. But my baby seats were 7 years old (third child), so I don't know how much different the newly designed baby seats are. Maybe look at consignment stores for an older model baby seat? My seatbeats seem to be pretty long, so I can't image running out of seatbelt...

My only problem was putting the baby seat, and a booster seat (for my older child) together in the backseat. There was not enough room for both.

 

I used a GRACO Snugride for a rear-facing seat. It was positioned behind the driver's seat of my 02 S60, I had to move the seat forward quite a bit. Now the kiddo is in a forward facing TITAN Deluxe, and there is alot more room. Never seemed to have a problem with the seatbelt length or anything of that nature with either seat.
